May, 2004 - New lengths of quarter-mile long rail are unloaded along the WRRTC right-of-way by operator Wisconsin & Southern Railroad. The track is between Janesville and Milton Junction. The $2.2 million track improvement project was funded by: WisDOT, WRRTC, Pecatonica Rail Transit Commission, East Wisconsin Counties Railroad Consortium, and Wisconsin & Southern Railroad. |
